A LITTLE HELP FOR YOUR NEXT TASK

DNS Record Inspector

Look up public DNS records and inspect resolver answers.

Live lookup uses Google DNS

Only an explicit Live lookup sends the public record name and type through our server to Google Public DNS. Saved-response and sample modes stay on your device. Files and other tool inputs are not uploaded.

What are the limits of DNS Record Inspector?

Live mode sends the entered public record name and type to Google Public DNS through this app. No arbitrary host fetching, port scanning or file upload. Results reflect one resolver, not worldwide propagation. DNSSEC AD is a resolver-reported flag, not independent chain verification. Example mode uses a labeled saved response. Text input: 5 MB total. XML external entities and includes are disabled. No automatic local storage. Reports summarize the selected result; CSV/JSON retain complete records.
