Useful things to know
Browser codec support varies. Mono and stereo only; audio is processed at 44.1 kHz; MP3 may select a lower output rate at lower bitrates. Re-encoding MP3 adds loss; a higher bitrate cannot restore source quality. WAV preserves processed PCM, not original source bytes. MP3 frame padding can slightly extend exported duration. Peak normalization is not noise removal, mastering or loudness-standard normalization. Short fades reduce boundary clicks. Files are capped at 20 MB/five minutes, with memory and worker time limits; shorter clips are best on phones. No recording or microphone permission is used. iPhone ringtones require an additional import workflow; M4R is not exported.
