How to use ZIP Creator
- Add files or choose a folder. Review filenames, edit paths or remove files.
- Name the ZIP and choose Store, Fast, Balanced or Maximum compression.
- Create the ZIP, then download it. Processing stays on your device.
What are the limits of ZIP Creator?
Up to 500 files, 25 MB per file and 50 MB combined input or output. Folder selection preserves relative paths but omits empty folders. Duplicate, case-conflicting, unsafe and excessively nested paths are rejected. Highly compressible files may be stored to preserve compatibility with the extractor's expansion limit. Compression does not reduce every file; JPG, MP3 and other compressed formats may barely shrink. No password encryption, ZIP64 or original filesystem permissions. Creation runs in a cancellable worker; downloads remain available until inputs change or you leave the page.
