A workflow to try

Compare a revised agreement to the previous copy. Inspect the text report for wording changes and the current-page difference view for layout changes.

Use your own input and inspect the actual preview and exported result before sharing.

When to use PDF Compare

Compare PDF text and current-page pixels, review a change report and save a highlighted difference image.

Compare a revised agreement to the previous copy. Inspect the text report for wording changes and the current-page difference view for layout changes.

Prepare, review and export

Open the before and after PDFs together and select the pages to analyze.

Choose whitespace matching and pixel tolerance, then analyze text and the current common page.

Review the text patch or rose-highlighted pixel differences and download the report or PNG.

Limits that affect the result

20 MB and 200 pages per PDF. Text extraction supports up to 100 selected pages and existing diff budgets; reduce the range for long documents. Scans have no selectable text. Pixel comparison uses normalized preview resolution and counts layout shifts as changes, not semantic edits.
