Reduce steady noise, learn a noise profile, filter hum and compare the removed sound.
Start with your media
Add a recording. Use automatic noise tracking or select a short section containing only background noise to learn a profile.
Shape the result
Choose a preset, adjust reduction and smoothing, and optionally remove rumble or mains hum.
Review and export
Prepare audio, compare Original, Cleaned and Removed noise, then download WAV or MP3.
Changing controls keeps the previous export labeled as out of date until you prepare a new result. Always listen or watch before sharing.
Compatibility and limits
Files stay on your device. A pinned FFmpeg WebAssembly engine (about 31 MB) downloads from jsDelivr on first use; an internet connection and a modern WebAssembly browser are required. Processing uses one worker thread and can be slow or memory-intensive on phones. Cancel stops the worker. Export re-encodes media, strips metadata and cannot recover missing quality. Encrypted or DRM-protected media is unsupported. Up to 100 MB and 10 minutes of mono/stereo audio. FFT denoising targets steady hiss, fan noise and hum; it does not isolate speakers, music or instruments. Aggressive settings can create artifacts. A learned profile must contain only noise; voice in the sample can damage wanted audio. Removed sound is the original selection minus the processed signal, without independent normalization.
