Edit MP3 title, artist, album, genre, year, track, disc and comments; replace cover artwork or remove ID3 tags without re-encoding audio.
Prepare and preview
Add an MP3 file. Existing supported tags and PNG/JPEG artwork load automatically.
Edit text fields, add or remove artwork, or choose to remove ID3 tags.
Save the MP3. The MPEG audio payload is copied without re-encoding.
Limits and output quality
MP3 only, up to 20 MB; no duration limit because audio is not decoded. Supports standard unflagged ID3v2.3/v2.4 frames and ID3v1 fallback. Tags using extension headers, unsynchronization, experimental flags, compressed/encrypted frames or ID3v2.2 are rejected rather than silently rewritten. Free-bitrate MPEG streams are unsupported. Up to 512 frames and a 4 MB ID3 body. Cover artwork must be PNG or JPEG up to 2 MB; larger/other existing pictures are retained without a preview. UTF-16 text is written for ID3v2.3 and UTF-8 for ID3v2.4. Supported text fields replace existing values, comments are rewritten as one English comment, year is four digits, and replacing artwork replaces embedded pictures. Unknown unflagged ID3 frames are retained unless Remove ID3 tags is selected. ID3v1 footers are removed on save. Other tag containers, such as APE, are not removed or edited. Files stay local; no audio quality is lost through re-encoding.
