Choose the right favicon sizes, understand JPEG privacy limits, and calculate discount and tax totals with transparent rounding.
A usable favicon pack
Start with a square 512 px PNG, JPG or WebP. Transparent padding helps a logo remain readable in browser tabs. Fit preserves the full image. Crop photo lets you drag/reposition and zoom inside a square, with keyboard arrows and position sliders as alternatives. The preview and every exported icon use the same crop. ICO contains legacy-friendly 16/32/48 px DIB images plus a 256 px PNG. The ZIP adds PNG website icons, a 180 px Apple touch icon, 192/512 px manifest icons, tags and instructions. Edit manifest placeholders and upload files to your public root. A manifest does not itself implement offline support. Small images are upscaled, not enhanced, and search engines/browser caches may update slowly.
JPEG privacy without unnecessary recompression
EXIF can hold location, camera details, dates and thumbnails. This tool removes application metadata, EXIF/XMP/IPTC, comments, profiles and bytes after the JPEG end marker. Minimal standardized JFIF/Adobe rendering markers may remain. Ordinary JPEGs keep their compressed image scans; orientations that need correction are normalized by the browser and re-encoded before stripping. This can slightly change pixels or increase file size. Removing color profiles can change appearance in some viewers. No upload or persistent storage is used.
Metadata stripping is not complete anonymity
Visible faces, house numbers, signs, watermarks and steganography remain. The output uses a neutral filename, but sharing platforms can retain information outside the JPEG. JPEG only, up to 20 MB/24 megapixels. Corrupt or unsupported coding formats are rejected. Inspect the cleaned preview before sharing.
Discounts and sales tax
Sliders offer quick estimates while numeric fields give exact decimal input. Ten percent followed by another ten percent saves nineteen percent, not twenty. Each basket adjustment rounds half-up to two decimal places. Tax is normally added to the discounted subtotal; inclusive pricing instead extracts the included tax. Quantity affects the basket subtotal before discounts. Currency is a label, not a currency exchange. Actual receipts can differ because of jurisdiction rules, exemptions, shipping and item-level rounding. Calculations stay on your device.
