Understand date differences, leap years, live age, calendar arithmetic and approximate zodiac views without uploading personal dates.
Calendar days versus working days
Calendar days are date boundaries, not elapsed 24-hour periods. The default interval includes the earlier date and excludes the later date. Include the end date to count both. Reversed inputs are reordered. Business days exclude your selected weekend and holiday list; no country holiday feed is assumed.
Age, time zones and leap birthdays
Age uses Gregorian calendar years, months and days in your selected birth time zone. Elapsed minutes and seconds use actual instants, so daylight-saving changes can affect totals. Midnight is assumed when birth time is unknown. Ambiguous or missing DST birth times require a different explicit time. February 29 birthday countdowns use February 28 in non-leap years. Device clocks and millisecond precision limit the counter; microseconds are derived, not measured.
Cultural zodiac views
Western American and Russian sun signs share familiar zodiac symbols. The Indian sidereal sun approximation shifts the date by 24 days and is not a Moon rashi. Chinese and Korean animals use the browser Chinese lunar calendar for years 1900–2100; exact regional new-year boundaries can differ. Modern Japanese animals follow the Gregorian year. These views are entertainment rather than exact birth charts.
Adding months and leap years
Adding a month to January 31 clamps to February’s final day. Subtract with a negative number. Gregorian leap years divide by four, except centuries must divide by 400. All date tools use the proleptic Gregorian calendar for years 1–9999; historical calendar adoption is not modeled. Your dates stay on your device and are not saved.
